Kinnick the Dog!

Seems like I have forgotten to mention a family member in the past posts-poor Kinnick! Our 4-yr old Golden Retriever, Kinnick, unfortunately gets the back burner a lot, though she is so sweet and laid-back that she never really seems to mind (just like us girls to go with the flow when the boys steal our thunder!) She had a bit of change of address when Quinn was born-to the garage-our little house just could not hold all of us. Like I said-she seemed to adjust and still loves us just the same. A few pics of Kinny's life-mostly with Jack!

Bathtime!

The boys had been taking an evening bath together for about a month, which both seemed to enjoy (sorry no pictures of this, too many private parts exposed) Jack thought Quinn was hilarious, and they laughed and laughed! Then-Quinn started kicking Jack in the head and to retaliate Jack would splash Quinn in the face which led to an immediate meltdown. So...to separate baths we go-both still really love their bath, though now its about a 45min process with Jack trying to get himself naked and into the tub while Quinn is still kicking away! We did try a sink bath once w/ Quinn, have you ever tried to hold a wriggling 8 month old still while he is wet, soapy and sitting on aluminum-impossible!

Hey-does anyone know how to keep my slide show at the top of the page?

Picnic in the Park

With limited days left to play and picnic in the park, we packed the stroller(with loot from the food show)and set off. Lots of fun, though not much eaten-time is always limited with a 2-yr old and 8-mon old!

Food Show

We traveled to the Affiliated Food Show with our friends, Mike and Katie a few weeks ago. This is seriously the craziest thing I have ever seen. Everything is set up like the hugest grocery store ever, and you just walk around and eat the samples they have to offer-really cuts down on the food budget for a trip out of town!! Mike and Katie won a 1st place prize for biggest increase in sales-go Holstein SuperMarket! Anyway, back to the craziness, about 11ish am on Saturday when this thing is winding down, people just start stealing stuff from the booths. I guess that this is acceptable behavior because the booth bosses don't say anything. It doesn't take long before we were caught up in the spirit and stealing with the best of them. This is just Scott and I with the sticky fingers, Mike and Katie somehow keep their wits about them and don't go crazy like the rest. Seriously-people have rubbermaid bins strapped to wheels to load up the loot! Needless to say I don't have any pictures of the actual food show(my hands were too full of pies and baked goods)but a great time had by all, thanks Mike and Katie!

The BIG 3-0

Even though Scott turned 30 back on September 7th, I thought that it deserved a post(especially since I am still in my 20's!) We had a great party at the club with Jamie Whitmer and Grant Breyfogle (also Sept birthdays) A few cocktails were drunk, snacks eaten and laughs shared. Happy Birthday Hubby!
