Gobble, Gobble!

Jack had his first "program" at daycare/preschool last week. The theme was Thanksgiving, they sang 3 songs with actions,

made a pinecone turkey

and then ate a snack.

It was so cute and we were so proud. Before it started Scott asked if I brought the video camera, I kinda laughed at this thinking that that might have been overkill. Then all of the other parents started setting up their tripods....I was mistaken, sorry Jack I did not get this on video-next time I promise!

I also have to tell you what Jack told us the other day, just thinking about it makes me happy.

Jack: "Look at this picture Mommy, do you remember this?"

(He is holding up this picture.)

Me: "Yes buddy I do remember, that was Mike and Katie's wedding."

Jack: "No, see Mommy, this is when you were a princess!"

"And look Daddy, you were LOVING her!"

Right you are Jack, right you are!

Quinn's News

Quinn has something that he would like to announce, and since he doesn't quite know all of the words yet he will let his shirt do the talking!

That's right we will be becoming a family of 5 in late June/early July 2010! Yay!

Family Times

We had such a GREAT weekend! Uncle Steve, Uncle Scott and Aunt Ashley, and our family all met for the weekend at Papa Wayne's and Mama Kaye's. We all made it for the Hawkeye kickoff (which sadly, was the only bad part of the weekend) We had lots of snacks and wisconsin cheese soup then had our own football/kickball game at halftime!

And also hit the park where we caught up with the Whitmer's. We all headed to JuWillis Jepsen's wedding dance that night

-lots of fun seeing lots of friends.

Sunday was Uncle time

and MUCH more football. Jack found Steve's old Rams helmet and hardly took it off all weekend. unn thinks that anything football related=the hawkeyes, so he spent the weekend saying "Go Hawkeyes!"

The weather was just gorgeous to be outside and we soaked up as much sunshine as possible.

We had Thanksgiving lunch, and then napped, then ate pumpkin pie and ice cream cones for the boys.

Perfect!

We made one more stop at the park and then visited the Clausen's, the boys had a great time together and I had a great time snuggling Ty.
Thanks Mom and Dad for such a good weekend-it was great to all be together, there's nothing like family!

All Things Fall

We had a great last week, doing lots of Fall things like....

Checking out our yellow leaves(it has been fun to see what colors we would have at our new house!)

Admiring some early Halloween candy before school on Friday. They were real thrilled about pictures that early in the morning, plus I think Dora was on! (I promise that they didn't actually eat candy for breakfast!)

Carving pumpkins with Daddy. Jack wanted a scary face this year and Quinn got a happy face by default. They loved scooping out the guts, Quinn only used the spoon to dig, but Jack got his hands dirty!

Talking with Uncle Steve on skype, all wearing masks!Jack and Quinn thought that this was hilarious!

Posing by their jack-o-lanterns before trick-or-treating. They both decided that their masks were too scary to wear to actually trick-or-treat...

Getting some great candy!

Cleaning up our yellow leaves with the tractor

Supporting the local government-don't forget to vote!

Happy Fall!
