Apparently we have been too busy playing outside to blog lately, and I have a ton of pictures to prove it! I can't say how happy the sunshine makes this family...
Though I think Jack's face just about sums it up!
Jack and Quinn were preparing for the nice weather well before it appeared by "learning golf" and "fixing" in the garage.

It's funny because once you tell a 4 and 2yr old that it is spring and ok to play outside, there is no going back on your word. Our outside gear was adjusted each day for the 30-60degree weather as we toured the town's parks and our backyard.

One really warm day we went to the park in sweats and boots(which they had been wearing all of the time outside because of the squishy mud) There were others at the park wearing flip-flops (yes it was that warm!), anyway Quinn looked at me and said "boots off" and I had to admit they looked pretty out of place!

So sorry buddy's you don't have to wear your boots to the park anymore this year!
They even got to go "real" golfing to the course and not just in the backyard!

Though Scott said that they were more interested in the cart and treats-they definitely are my children!
And even when we visited "Papa" and "Dramma" in Holstein, and the ground was covered in snow, out we went to shovel and mow the snow!

And yesterday, the boys got "summer hair cuts"

( Jack would not let me take his picture!)
I think that Quinn is looking pretty old and like a "toughie" which makes me a bit sad...
And oh yeah, we have been cheering on the Panthers!

On a funny side note. Both boys are obsessed with "potty" talk. Especially during supper time. Poop this and poop that, were driving Scott and I bonkers. So yesterday a new rule was born, a dab of hot sauce to the tongue if poop or the like are talked about at supper. Worked like a charm, though now they think that "hot sauce" is a naughty word and won't stop saying it! I can hear them in their room whispering "hot sauce" to each other and giggling, which also makes me giggle!
Happy Spring!
