Ok Quinners, your turn! Back to Halloween we go, you were Bumblebee.(minus the mask-you hate them!)

And while you were definitely excited about being a transformer I am pretty sure that Jack had some influence. (how can you have a transformer fight with just one transformer?) Though that is just fine with you, you LOVE Jack and really just want to do what he wants, except when you don't and then we have WW3! You also had fun decorating and carving punmpkins.

You have been playing transformers even when Jack is at school. The other morning you were laying on the floor between the ottomans and couch, and said "Quick Mommy pull me out of the hot lava!" Apparently those transformers are always getting themselves into hot lava, because that's when I get called on to help! (though for the record I am not Mommy, I am Ratchet-the oldest transformer and the one who fixes them when the others get hurt-which I am choosing to take as a compliment!) Anyway, after I pulled you out of the hot lava and you were preparing to jump onto the couch you said in your toughest guy voice, "Watch out Mommy, I got a real, real, real, real SPATULA!" I about died laughing. So fierce with your cooking utensil!

You continue to be a lover. There never was a baby who got as many kisses as Clay does. I always know you are coming for a love because you make this "muah-muah-muah" noise while pursing your lips!

The potty training battle continues. I know that this is as much mommy's deal as it is yours. The other day when you peed on the floor-I just about lost it. And decided to back off a bit after that!

You are getting excited for Christmas. You want a sword. Awesome. Bumblebee may seriously beat Optimus if there is a sword involved! You don't quite get the Elf thing, and I swear "Old Navy" is going to lose his magic from you touching him all the time!

Oh Jack where do I start? How about Halloween (I know, bad mommy blogger) You were Optimus Prime this year, which was a surprise, since you had talked all about being a skeleton/football player for months. But then you saw the costume and it was decided.

I do believe that this Halloween decision is what sparked the renewed love affair with transformers. Anyway, you just about had the costume worn out before the big night, you love to dress up. Though putting on the outfit always leads to "transformer fight" on Mom and Dad's bed which leads to someone getting hurt. Funny how you forget about the bumps and bruises by the next morning and you are transformer fighting again! You had a great time decorating pumpkins and cupcakes at Grandma Sally's.

And you were a great traveler/helper when we drove to Holstein to surprise Grandma. You even beat Grandpa Wayne in the Rams/Redskins football game!

(though I didn't kow that the kicker ran with the ball !:))

You have been learning SO much in school. Though the only report that I can consistently get from you is what you ate for snack! You tell me a bit about Spanish and your favorite word is "rapido" You told me a "secret" the other day, that your girlfriend is Natalie! And then the next day at school your friend Abby's mom told me that she was your girlfriend! And then the next day you said "we don't talk to the girls they are disgusting."
One night we were snuggling on the couch we had this conversation
Jack: When did Daddy find you?
Me: What do you mean? Like when did we meet?
Jack: Yeah
Me: Well I worked at a restaurant (Diamond Dave's) and Daddy came in to eat supper there (happy hour!)
Jack: And then you got married?
Me: Yep
Jack: (VERY embarrassed) and then you kissed?
Me: Yep
Jack: OK
Me: Someday do you want to find a girl to marry?
Jack: Yeah a really PRETTY one!
Me: How bout a really nice one?
Jack: (excited) Yeah a nice one who won't yell at me when I get home from work!

Lesson learned buddy, lesson learned.

You continue to love on your brothers. Your relationship with Quinn is more love/hate. Though for Clay it is all love!

Your love for shoes continues. Your Grandpa Stu recently bought you a new pair, and you wouldn't take them off, even wearing them with your jammies. The love runs so deep for your tennies that you slept with the box for 3 nights!
You are getting very excited for Christmas, and so far only want Transformers. We got an Elf on the Shelf this year and you are mesmerized! You and Quinn named him "Old Navy" and man! does that elf have powers! Mommy's new best friend.
We love you tons buddy, can't wait for Christmas morning!
