11 Months

Lots of new things/firsts for Clay this month. 1st (and 2nd) ear infections, 1st drug allergy (amoxicillin=hives), 1st (and 2nd) ouchy top tooth,



You can kind of see the top 2 giant teeth in this crazy sideways photo.

 new big boy toys-all of which make much more noise than the baby rattles/chewers,

and a newfound fascination with his tongue.

 Not sure if the "good new things" balance out the "yucky 1st's," but he is still the happiest little guy so we will just go with that!

While at the Dr. for the ear infection he weighed in at 22lbs. I am afraid that all of his baby fat is melting away, all the more reason to keep him in these onesies-I can get to the squishiness faster and more often:)

And besides is there anything cuter than a white onesie? Economical too!
We aren't talking about what's happening to my baby next month...though I suppose I should start planning a cake smash-a-thon.
Clay-my heart broke when you were sick, though I am not complaining about the extra snuggles. You make me happy everytime I look at you, there are no words for the love.

Baby Kyra

I got a glimpse of the other side this week. Pink, tutus, hair bows, and tights! We took care of my niece Kyra for 3 days while Scott and Ash were in New Orleans. And while I LOVED having her and being girly with her-she is an easy and happy girl, I can definitely say that 4 children are not in our near (or far!) future. Not sure how Mom's of twins do it?

She was a bit shy at first, and who can blame her our house is a bit overwhelming, but after the first day she was smiling, giggling, clapping and babbling so loud I thought it was Clay a few times. Yes, Scott and Ash some of the Thorson craziness may have rubbed off-sorry about that :)
